The Direct Project is a massive effort in the Healthcare industry to standardize secure communications between all types of Healthcare companies. Secure Exchange Solutions is an established provider offering secure messaging solutions that meet or exceed the Direct Project standards.
I believe this relationship illuminates the fact that fax is still required by many healthcare companies - even if considered a gap solution to what the Direct Project will bring about. etherFax will be providing a critical piece to the puzzle with not only a secure fax telephony cloud, but also their Secure Exchange Network (SEN). As I have reported in earlier writings, SEN is a technology worth watching.
