FAXAGE Awarded another U.S. Patent: "Scalable and flexible internet fax architecture"

FAXAGE has now patented, "Scalable and flexible internet fax architecture".  U.S. Patent Number 8,503,630, dated August 06, 2013.  It's described as being a continuation of their 2012 U.S. Pat. No. 8,249,230

It appears to have a lot to do with the receiving and processing of inbound faxes.

A little bit of Fax news from South Africa

Here's another Fax ATA solution offered by many vendors, including Switch Telecom in South Africa. Uses the Cisco SPA 112. Switch claims that "Faxing is so ingrained in certain public and private sector institutions that it doesn’t make sense to try convert them to email. Rather, the solution is a more reliable way of faxing.”
